The LLRC/ACCLL Master's Research Award 2022 winners are:
English thesis winner is:
Leysa Alexandra Granger completed her Master of Education at the University of Ottawa under the supervision of Dr. Stephanie Arnott. Her thesis is entitled “Perspectives of Ontario School Board Administrators on Fostering Plurilingualism in Secondary Level International Languages Classrooms.”
French thesis winner is:
Meredith Lachance a complété ses études dans le programme de maitrise en didactique des langues du Département de didactique des langues de l'Université du Québec à Montréal. Dans son projet, elle conjugue le ressourcement théorique avec une démarche de conception rigoureuse pour offrir un dispositif sur la ponctuation afin d’améliorer la fluidité en lecture chez les jeunes apprenants. La transposition didactique à travers la méthodologie d’une recherche développement arrime avec sa créativité débordante pour offrir aux enseignantes et à leurs élèves un dispositif didactique original, ludique et susceptible de démystifier la ponctuation auprès d’une jeune population d’élèves.

Application Deadline: Monday, November 1, 2021
The recipient of the award will receive a maximum of $750 to be used towards their attendance at the 2022 CSSE Conference.

Le ou la lauréate recevra une somme jusqu’à concurrence de 750 $ pour couvrir les frais liés à sa participation à la conférence annuelle de la SCÉÉ..

Shortlisted candidates for the award will be notified in January 2022 and asked to submit their full thesis for the next stage of the competition.
